Here is Eve 0.6 working on her rolling skills. Most of these posted pictures are done from my camera phone so apologies in advance for the quality of the picture and the skill of the photographer but hey, pixels are cheap.
We took her in for her half-year check up this week. Everything is very healthy and moving along as expected. She’s in the 51st or 52nd percentile for height and weight but shows her father’s lineage by having a head in the 86th percentile.
Her easy smile continues to charm strangers, and we’re trying to get her out an about as much as possible to have new experiences and fill her brain. She can balance sitting very well until she extends for something out of reach and faceplants unless we’re quick enough to catch her. She rolls over readily but always a half turn to the left and rarely back.
She’s still not sleeping all the way through the night, but she can go 7 or so hours (bedtime at 8:30, awake at 3:30). She’s been fussy as all get out today so we’re concerned about an upset tummy or maybe the beginning of teething.
All in all she’s a delight and I love playing with her, singing to her, and the quiet times.
